Mondays are Bohemia days. They start with a drive to Lafayette to do our Purple Art work at TRU PACE, a really wonderful day center where participants receive meals, health care, activities, and of course a sense of community. It's a whirlwind of paint and paper as we get about 20 people set up to do expressive painting. After a year of weekly painting, they are all waiting for us to arrive and jump right in as soon as we get there.
We love this job so much! After PACE, we race to our studio and meet about upcoming workshops, trips, and all the fun things we have in the works. Then we go to Bella Vista, a memory care community, and do painting projects with those awesome folks.
